bullet  General Notes:

After his parents died (his father 28th July 1875 and mother in 1878) he lived at No 6 Cannon St London.
Frank commenced a Pharmacy course in 1888 in London but was told to stop by the executors of his parents estate (Daniel Robert Dossetor).
He came to Adelaide in 1889 to live with his Uncle, Charles Goode, later Sir Charles.
He left for China as a Missionary with The China Inland Mission in November 1890 and returned to Adelaide arriving on the 23rd May 1899.

The following is a transcript of a letter written by Frank Burden (my Grandfather)

Thanet Collegiate School
Margate
Dec 7th 1880

My dear sister
I have the pleasure to inform you that the Christmas vacation will begin on Saturday the 18th instant and will end on Thursday January 27th'
The boys will travel by South Eastern Railway by the train timed to reach Charing Cross at 2-37.
With best love
I remain my dear sister

Frank married Joanne Turner Webster, daughter of Rev William Johnston Webster and Mary Ann Turner, on 20 Oct 1897 in Ch'ung K'ing, China. (Joanne Turner Webster was born on 30 Aug 1868 in Cruden, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, died on 3 Aug 1956 in Henley Beach Private Hospital, South Australia and was buried in North Brighton Cemetery, South Australia..)
