Ronald Willem Boogaart

  Noted events in his life were:

• Military service. Served in the Royal Australian Air Force for 20.5 years, 1967 - 1987, firstly as an Armament Fitter (3 years), then as an Electronics Technician (14 years).

• Fact. My family emigrated to Australia in 1950 on the SS Volendam. I was born in Holland on the 20 April, being only seven months old when we disembarked in Sydney in October.

Ronald married Jeanette Margaret Gigney, daughter of Maurice Edward Gigney and Dorothy Jean Dempster, on 6 Nov 1971 in Darwin, Australia.
