• Fact 1. She was called " old vinegar cruet" by her Evans grandchildren.

• Fact 2. Per Joan Skinner: "Peggy has her sampler, probably has her birthday on it. She was good looking, an expert needlewomen, a good cook. She had a maid. She and her parents came from Wales.

Her marriage certificate states that at the time of her marriage she was living at Kelvedon, Essex.

Jane married William Gigney, son of Samuel Gigney and Amy DAY, on 17 Sep 1843 in St Pancras Church, Middlesex, England. (William Gigney was born on 27 Mar 1814 in St Georges, Southwark, England, christened on 24 Aug 1817 and died in 1913.)
